HALAL Food

Muslims follow the Islamic law that lists foods and drinks that are Halal and permissible to consume. Halal foods are foods that Muslims are allowed to eat and drink under Islamic dietary guidelines. The criteria specify both what foods are allowed, and how the food must be prepared. The foods addressed are mostly types of meat which are allowed in Islam.

We went here on Easter Sunday evening. We were surprised that the place was empty, but the takeaway service was clearly busy. We had just missed the Early Bird, but my partner has had that before and said it was very good. We were given the customary pompadoms with accompaniments, which were spot on. We shared an onion bhaji starter…

I’m a Bradford girl and I know my curries!! AND I’m half Indian so this had a lot to live up to. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very different to the curries I’m used to but that didn’t make it any less enjoyable. We opted for the Sunday early bird and for less than 40 euros we had a 3 course meal. The staff were very attentive and the wait between courses was good. It’s literally next door to the hotel we stayed in too so really convenient.
